These methods incorporate the concepts of the integrative theory of speech and those of the cognitive theory of emotions developed by I. Shekhter. These theories regularly illuminated and explained in bulky journals, our students can do with very limited exposure to dull scholastic subject matter. As stated above, the methodology we use is communicative and aimed at teaching effective communication skills. In order to learn something, you need either to hear it twenty times or to see it eight times or to do it yourself just a couple of times. Therefore, our students are exposed to communication in Russian from the very first minute of their class. While communicating, they acquire new vocabulary, grammar forms and stylistic rules of this language.

We proceed from the point that Russian is not to be learned for the sake of learning. It is to be done to identify one’s talents and to achieve personal and intellectual growth. You achieve the stated objectives by using language skills as a daily medium for attaining greater intellect and flexibility as well as for changing into a brighter personality. This is the very essence of individualised and personalised approaches.
