Our communicative method of teaching Russian as a second language covers all kinds of speech activity: listening, reading, writing and, above all, speaking.
The teacher’s objective is to teach the student how to activate the Russian language, to be understood and comprehend by native speakers. The students are taught to use passive knowledge in practice using grammar in modeled real situations. A focus is made on the accuracy of speech since it is a foundation of language culture. The student develops an understanding of the structures of building simple and complex Russian sentences, the use of grammar forms, normative stress and accuracy of word usage.
